Parking available at the first coordinates. A nice easy walk to get to the other coordinates. How good is your math? You might want to bring a paper and pencil, maybe even a calculator to help figure out the coordinates. The cache is not found in the rocks. The cache is a camouflaged peanut butter container.
Jasper can be very busy and the first four stops of your walk through history are high muggle areas. At each stop you will need to read the plaques for the information to get the coordinates for the next location. To successfully log this cache you must work your way through the first four caches to get to the fifth and final cache where you will find a container with a log book and pencil. In accordance with Jasper National Park Guidelines NO TRADE ITEMS or things that might attract wildlife are to be left in this cache. NO TB'S of any kind are allowed. Just sign the log book. Stop 1. Visit the listed coordinates: N 52 52.695 W 118 04.839 Take the time to take a picture. Most people do. To get the next coordinates you must read the plaque and use the dates recorded there. (date this attraction was created minus 64) divided by 3 = A N 52 52. A (date this attraction was erected plus 399) divided by 3 = B W 118 04.B Stop 2. Visit the following coordinates: N 52 52. A W 118 04.B Need a rest? This is a great place to sit and relax, but don’t forget you still have 3 stops to go. At this historical stop you need to read the plaque and use the two dates provided. (date building was completed minus 405) divided by 3 = C N 52 52.C (date sign was erected minus 378) divided by 2 = D W 118 04.D Stop 3. Visit the following coordinates: N 52 52.C W 118 04.D At this location train your eyes to the number looking down at you. This number is to be used in both coordinates. (number plus 315) divided by 10 = E N 52 52.E (number plus 1705) divided by 10 = F W 118 04.F Stop 4. Visit the following coordinates: N 52 52.E W 118 04.F No matter how high or how low you look at this attraction there is something to see.
