A 670ml Clip top plastic box, Hidden on a woodland walking trail
This is the third of a series of caches to be hidden in and around The Celtic Manor Resort, as a celebration of the venue playing host to the Ryder Cup in 2010. The biggest event in golf and the world's 3rd biggest sporting event.
This Cache has been set at the start of a wonderful series of purpose build woodland trails.
There are over 4kms worth of woodland walks most have wide hardcore paths that are suitable for off-road type push chairs and mountain bikes.
The Coldra wood now borders a convention centre and the Roman road golf course named after the Via Juilet Roman highway. The Trails around the woodland are all helpfully marked with colour banded sign posts. This cache is hidden somewhere along the blue marked trail.
This ancient woodland is home to a variety of broad-leaf native trees and is a haven to many small mammal species and bird life.
You are looking for a 670ml plastic clip-top box with a Geocaching sticker on it. It contains items to trade and a log book and pen.
Just remember its a public area with plenty of Golfers on the course close to the cache site, so keep an eye out for Geomuggles!
