Burleigh Sands is one point you can gain access to the Loch Leven Heritage Trail which runs around Loch Leven from Kinross to Vane Farm, in a clockwise direction for 13km.
The emphasis is on wildlife and Loch Leven’s status as a national nature reserve. The loch’s water, islands and reed-fringed shores are internationally important for nesting ducks and over-wintering wildfowl, with more than 20,000 pink-footed geese using the area. Whatever time of year you visit, there are plenty of birds to see and the three hides along the route are ideal places to sit and watch their goings-on.
The GPS was very erratic at the time of placing the cache and was showing up to a 20ft error, but the clue should help.
You will need to bring a pen/pencil.
Ample parking at the Burleigh Sands Car Park
Congratulations to Talking Treeoes on FTF.
Nice to hear the GPS of others was as erratic as our's when placing this cache.
