The cache was placed during our trip from Abu Dhabi to Salalah driving down the coast of Oman, a total of 8 caches were hidden and this one was the seventh.
The cache is a plastic container with a screw on cap and has been placed underneath a rock on the Eastern promontory.
There is much to see when visiting Khor Rori, not only the sea water is crystal clear and appeals for swimming and snorkeling but one has to sit down and imagine that the khor was once a major ports supporting the Frankincense trade. The ruins of Sumhuram (4th century BC) are also must to visit with good explanations posted all around the settlement.
Good luck finding the cache and enjoy the scenery.
Next cache to be found in Salalah’s Al Mughsayl headland.
