Geocache Description:

Cemetery Hunt in the Fairbanks Baptist Church cemetery.

Cemetery Hunt Welcome to the fourth of AMTG's caches. I will try to make my caches as easy to find (once you follow the instructions and solve any puzzles involved) as possible. They should be large enough to hold SMALL trackables and trade items. The cache is smaller than at first as it was muggled. Please try to replace it exactly as found. Please feel free to do any maintenance or email me with any problems. I suggest you bring the following to ALL of my caches: 1) Your respect: do not damage the environment or disrespect the spirits living here 2) Your imagination to learn about the area and its people 3) A compass 4) A measuring tape if you are mobility challenged (100 foot is best but I use a 200 foot) 5) I have also tried to make all of my stops informative to those that are visually challenged. The feeling of the inscriptions on the stops, the art, the beauty is all there to be seen with the hands. A visual guide will be needed to help but the rest is up to you! Now for AMTG #4........... This cemetery is special to the area residents. It is a small town where the income came from one commodity. You will understand when you arrive at the posted coordinates. Stop and reflect, no hints here sorry, just thoughts to ponder. If you still do not understand, there is a street plaque that explains the industry. 1) Do you know what the marker is depicting? 2) Can you tell how the people of Fairbanks got this commodity to market? When I was younger, I often found some of the two pots depicted in the monument. People used them for flowerpots. Now they are scarce, and I have not seen a real one for many many years. There may still be some to be found in the Ocala National Forest. Now, on with the hunt. going in a direction of 252 degrees travel approx. 53 feet. This will bring you to the actual cache. Please be careful as you can easily be MUGGLED!!! Look at the picture if you are having trouble getting to the first spot! Ah, now the game is afoot!
