Not over the river but through the woods. This is between a 1.5 and 2 mile roundtrip hike on a lovely trail along a stream. Can be muddy at times! The coordinates are an average reading... the reception was a bit inconsistent.
There is closer parking, but, the hike is nice and relaxing.
This area of middle creek has been a special place for my wife and I. Our first hikes together were here... we watched one of our first meteor showers here... watching the snow geese migrate... enjoying lunch by the lake and walking on the frozen lake. It has always brought us peace and smiles. This cache was placed for my wife to find on Christmas Day with her new GPS. Awww... :)
Cache has was replaced April 2016. Please be sure to cover this well when done.
