#1 I had been thinking of placing a series of caches in this part of The Cockaponset State forest for some time. What better time of the year to share some new caches with my geocaching friends, and some smiley faces too.
The entire Chatfield Trail is about 4.3 miles long, DO NOT PARK ON CHAMPLAIN Rd. access only from Rt.80
There will be a ? 13Th cache so don’t forget to get the hint for the lucky 13th cache. Look on the back of the log book for some needed information.
This should be a fun series with views, ledges, caves, pine groves, Cedar groves and lots of slippery rocks. Enjoy
