Fairly level walk, along public footpath by riverside. Tree cover makes GPS bearings vary so please read hint
This is am easy walk, either park at Mount Edgcumbe lower carpark ( parking fee), of whic is approx 0.65mile walk, if you are not in a hurry this is the most interesting way to go, there is a path out the back of the carpark leading on to a track, you will pass the old boatyard of Mashfords, an obelisk, old fuelling depot plus you get good view up the Tamar and to the dockyard, also past Empacombe harbour and houses.
Alternate parking is off the road going around Millbrook creek, park on each of road by Public footpath sign to Empacombe and Cremyll, this is the shorter route aboute a quarter of a mile each way. Using this to launch my new travel bug, Torpoint Ferry
