Geocache Description:

TELEPHONE PERMACRETE? What the heck is this thing?

Trolling the new trail that connects Water Works Park and Grays Lake area today, (no longer tracks here) and off to the north, what do I see, but a concrete house. Pretty interesting little structure. I found one thread on the internet about it, but that is it. Seems to be a little hut used along the railroads for shelter, telephone, and some even had stoves. This one is clearly out of commission, but maybe someone has some insight into the history, so please do post. I hope you enjoy this cache. Peace out to my fellow cachers and may you hunt with skill, precision, and the utmost respect for your environment. A safe place to PARK is the south parking lot of Gray's Lake and the trail comes right out of there. Photobucket
