Geocache Description:

Gohangasalami! There's a cache in Spring Meadows Park!

I am doing my own version of the 12 Days of Caching. I am listing one cache each day for the next 12 days. Each cache is dedicated to one of my Geocaching friends and is placed close to where they live.

This one is dedicated to Gohangasalami. "Go-hang-a-salami" is a kind of palendrome. If you spell it backwards it says "Im-a-lasagna-hog" which is the geocaching name of his faithful apprentice.

GHAS (as you'll see on his logs) has only been caching for 7 months and plans to get his 1000th cache before the end of the year in only 8 months! That beats me by a month! Grrr!

He is also an avid FTF hound and has earned the reputation of "Fireguy" amongst his fellow caching friends. Some of these friends even thinks that there is some kind of giant sucking sound that accompanies his many FTF's.

GHAS has been known to cache with Regal-lager (a true palendrome), Skidmarxx, and Fly-By who recently moved to Maryland (I guess he ran out of caches in PA). GHAS's geocaching friends have been known to say... "Wow... you really Shired that one!" when he makes a quick grab, although I have no idea where that expression came from.

It is always important to have the right geocaching equipment. I know that GHAS has gotten into night-caching and was recently seen sporting a cyclops-style head lamp to keep his hands free while he searches.

GHAS is a true-blue cacher who is making a quick name for himself in the geocaching world in Central PA. I celebrate this young cacher as the first in my 12 days of caching.

Gohangasalami... This one's for you!

You are looking for a small camo'ed tupperware container. It can hold trade items but was not big enough for a pen so make sure that you bring your own.
