Geocache Description:

This cache is a few feet along the Pond Trail from the Nicholas Flat Trail.

Nicholas Flat in Leo Carrillo State Park is a beautiful area with meadows, oak forests and a small year-round lake. Many places have fantastic views of the coast below and Sandstone Peak & Boney Mountain above.

Access is from the Nicholas Flat trailhead at the end of Decker School Road. Follow the link (visit link) for detailed descriptions of the trails in the area, including GPS tracks and elevation profiles.
