Here is an easy and wonderful hike through the Gillespie/Copp-Welch trails in Hinesburg. Several miles of foot trails located a few miles southeast of Hinesburg village center. You’ll find both forest and field trails for hiking, skiing, snowshoeing. This place has everything. It has wonderful trails, some great rock formations, peaceful meadows, a pond, cliffs and much more. There are no hard hills to climb. I archived my "It is in the container" multi-cache to open the trails up for traditional caches. To enjoy the wonder of the area, do all of the caches on this trail system. Zebra Girl was very happy that I was opening up the area for more caches. She has placed some wonderful caches with a great theme. If you just want to do this cache and Zebra Girl's "Forgiveness" cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=c18866df-ab64-485e-b5d9-81b4bbd13ec4 , you may want to use the "Close Parking" coordinates. If you want to do all of the caches on the trails, you may want to start at the "Far Parking" coordinates. It may look like the "Close Parking" coordinates is on private property. It is not. You will see the Gillespie/Copp-Welch trail head sign in what appears to be a private driveway. Park in front of the green power box. Follow the painted white trail markings on posts and trees to the cache. This cache should be winter friendly unless it is in very deep snow. I have always loved the word, "Wonderful". That something is filled with wonder. The area where this cache is hidden is a wonderful spot. Keep a lookout for Falcons. They nest in the ridges above the cache. I saw one soaring when I placed this cache.
