Please read the description below for logging
requirements.
Numbers. We are
fascinated by them. We love to celebrate milestones and goals
met of various numbers. One hundred always seems to be
a significant number that gives us a sense of
accomplishment.
What does the "Average of 4.1667 Finds/Hour" mean? This would
be the average number of finds per hour if you found exactly 100
caches over a 24 hour period.
The object of this
challenge is that you must find, all within a 24 hour period, a
total of 100 caches or more. Fill the tank and stock up the
car with snacks, water, caffeinated something and some
Bengay. You will be doing a lot of running around. Now
for some, you have already done this and know what this type of day
will entail. Well get ready to do it again. Past
blitzes don't count for this one.
The Rules of this Challenge:
-
All of your finds
must be found within any 24 hour period. If you want to start
at noon, you have until noon the next day to complete your 100
finds.
-
To even the playing
field, only a caching blitz day on or
after the hidden date of this challenge may be
used. This may be the excuse you have been looking
for to cache in a new area that you have not already cleaned
out. Do I hear "Road
Trip"?
-
You can use any
type of cache finds with the exclusion of other
challenges.
-
No "Armchair" finds
may be used for this challenge. You must have physically
visited each cache that day.
-
Use of THIS
challenge for your 24 hour count may be counted ONLY IF you
physically visited and signed the log in the time period of your
blitz.
-
You can visit the
final and sign at anytime but you can not log your completion until
you meet the logging requirements. (Doing this eliminates
your ability to use this as the cache find during your
blitz)
-
You MAY NOT
log this challenge as conquered in conjunction with a completion of
the
"
100 Stars Challenge". These challenges are intended to be
completed on separate days with a separate set of
finds.
-
Generally accepted rules, guidelines and conditions for logging a
cache find apply. These must be bona fide caches listed on
Geocaching.com that you have personally and physically active,
found and logged.
Logging
Requirements:
To log a “Found it”
for this cache, in addition to finding the cache and signing the
logbook, you must have:
Found a minimum of 100
caches during a 24 hour period.
In your log you must state
the start and ending time of your Blitz.
If I don't get some
highlights from your adventure consider your log
deleted.
I know that you will be
tired, but come on!!
I am also looking for your
"Hourly Average" in the log.
Demonstrate this
logging requirement as you see fit to meet the requirements.
If you use a stats generator for your profile, that would suffice
as long as it shows your "fastest 100 finds" in some way with a
valid date. Otherwise you could just state in your log the
date(s) of your blitz with the starting and ending caches
listed. Regardless of how you demonstrate your completion
of this challenge your log must include your "Hourly Average" for
the day.
What is your average? Here is how to find
out:
Let
pretend that you got up really early and headed out for a 24 hour
cache blitz. You found 132 caches within that 24 hour
period.
Number of Finds/24 = Hourly
Average
So...
132/24 = 5.5
Finds/Hour
