cbiij: What a shame. Dane Powers the manager at Menards told us it was OK to put a cache there in the parking lot. Now 241 logged finds and twelve years later I have to archive it. I guess the new manager is not as friendly.

Out of sight but not too hard to find
June 16, 2010 WE REPLACED THE CACHE THAT MUGGLES APPARENTLY TRADED FOR 3 LOSING LOTTERY TICKETS SOMETIME IN THE LAST COUPLE DAYS!
PLEASE ROLL THE LOG TIGHTLY AND INSERT IT IN THE CAP BEFORE REPLACING THE CONTAINER TO KEEP IT IN GOOD SHAPE - AND WATCH FOR MUGGLES BEFORE REMOVING OR REPLACING THE CACHE. THANKS!!
Our thanks to Dane Powers, the general manager of the Menards store, for allowing us to place this cache on the store property. It is a microcache containing only a log. Please bring your own pencil to sign and date the log. Please use stealth so you don't attract the attention of any shopping muggles. There is a bit less customer traffic later in the evening.
