Don't just come for the cache. Plan to spend the afternoon exploring the Fort and the many restored historical structures. Bring the kids and a picnic lunch. This new container, has room for small swag but idea us that it should hold FOREIGN MONEY.
Leave the car in one of the shady parking areas and take a short walk in the park. This cache won't be hard to reach though I have tried to camouflage it so it may be hard to spot. Please tuck it back in out of sight when you are finished.

Regarding placing caches in Orange County Parks:
You need to apply for a permit to place a catch in an Orange County Park. These are short one-page forms and can be obtained online. They will also give you a copy of the geocaching regulations. The permit is good for one year and then you must apply for a renewal. I have applied to place caches in five different Orange County parks and these have all been approved.

Summer -- 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Winter -- 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
