Little Waltham lies along the old main road from Chelmsford to
Braintree, where it crosses the River Chelmer at Winckford
Bridge.
The church of Norman origin is built mainly of flint and rubble.
It has a tall embattled tower with a small cupola, and contains
some Tudor brickwork. The church owes much of its present
appearance to the restoration work (1883-84) of Fredrick Chancellor
a Chelmsford architect.
The cache, which is a large micro, is a short distance from the
church.
The coordinates above are for the church. The clues for the
co-ordinates of the cache can be found if you sit around the
churchyard.
