Geocache Description:

Visit ( www.brazosbend.org / activities / geocaching at Brazos Bend ) - for a printable list of geocaches located in the park.

This name-sake small cache is located in Brazos Bend State Park just off of Whiteoak Trail. It will take a little hike to reach it from the trail. As you walk down Whiteoak Trail, it looks as though a tornado made its way through here during Hurricane Ike. Follow the animal trail into the woods. Be sure to mark the end of the animal trail so you can get back out.

Do not stick your hands into a hole without first looking to see if anything is home. Use a stick instead. Things like spiders, ticks, thorns, poison plants, ants, skeeters, army dillers, and possible wild animals such as ferrell hogs, snakes, deer, or even gators exist in this park. DO NOT approach them or their young. After you finish cachin', be sure and spend some quality family time in the park, hiking, biking, picnicing, fishing, or camping.

The proper permitting has been issued and approved for this cache. Also, it is illegal to enter a state park without first obtaining a park pass. Admission is $5.00 for adults, seniors, and children under 12 are free.

Congratulations to "Muddy Buddies" for FTF. Looks like the early bird got the worms!!!!!!!!!!
