We might get a little rain - come anyway - we have a large pavillion and we really need the rain!!
BRING YOUR BIKES, SCOOTERS, SKATES, ETC. THERE ARE WONDERFUL PAVED TRAILS THROUGHT HE PARK THAT WILL GET YOU CLOSE TO THE CACHES.
SPECIAL FUN FOR THE KIDS... THEIR OWN CACHES & SPECIAL DOOR PRIZES JUST FOR THEM!
Plan on attending our second Geo Event!
Terrain and general difficulty levels range from easy to hard. Something for everyone!
The event is a potluck lunch at Fort DeSoto County Park; co-ordinates are for Shelter 14.
Registration will begin at 9:00 am and lunch will begin at Noon. We will provide hot dogs, buns and the condiments. We will provide paper products (plates, cups, napkins and plastic eating utensils). Please bring a dish to share. Coffee will be available for the early birds!
There are barbeque grills that we will be cooking the hot dogs on if you would like to use them. There is electricity and it will be available but limited.
Please post in your logs what food you will be bringing!
We will have several new caches waiting to be found for those that attend.
We will have a table available for trading of Travel Bugs & Geocoins and another set up just for discovery. If you are interested, please bring them with you.

Captain Biggins has agreed to help us with a Poker Run - Special Prizes for the winners. THE POKER RUN WILL BEGIN AT 9 AM AND END AT NOON. THE RUN WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 52 PEOPLE WISHING TO PARTICIPATE. PRIZES TO THE BEST HAND AND WORSE HAND IN EACH DECK (2 DECKS OF CARDS BEING USED).
