After a few discussions and a little voting it has been decided
that emCache's first "Official" event will be held at:
The Wheel Inn, Ticknall, Derbyshire
on Tuesday, 20th January from 7pm
The venue is located on the A514 in the heart of the village,
the venue also has its own car park to the rear of the
premises.
The Wheel Inn is a restaurant styled pub which serves quality
food some of which is sourced locally. I've been asked to provide
them with a rough idea of what food we will be ordering so they
will be emailing me a menu which I will be forwarding to those who
log a "Will Attend". It would also be a great help if you could
state the number of people in your team.
Along with the normal geochat I'd also expect quite a few people
will be interested in talking about the
Midlands 2011
Mega Event.
Why not make a day of it? There are some great
caches locally which are hidden in some of
South Derbyshire's most picturesque locations.
