Easy and short walk on grass and well-maintained track from obvious carpark. Suitable for all ages, only a slight gradient involved.
Cache is a small (approx 700ml) screw-top plastic container painted in camo colours. When placed it contained a few small swaps, plus Travel Bug 'Mr Oinky' who is looking for the love-of-his-life Miss Piggy (he found a few other friends with us, but not his heart's desire). This spot is another of our excuses to get cachers to stop and take in one of our lovely Northland views - and there is no excuse not to stop as it is very close to the highway.
