Geocache Description:

Thanks to Crowfoot for the container and Tishman for the sharing of the idea. The coordinates are close to some parking. Read the description and go figure....

"The other day I went to gather in Pay It Forward/Tishman-Lucy92979 and I found the cache but I did have to search about for it. I found that after all of the searching that I had lost my bearings and didn't know which way to go to get back to the cache mobile. But I've got my trusty GPS'r so I'll be OK. O No the battery just died....Now what

Well its about 2PM and the sun seems to be over there so I think west is this way. I'll try this for a while. So off I go wondering if I'm going to spent the night in the forest primeval or will I be able to find my way out. After a while I stop....maybe my GPS'r will give me a bit of help after resting the battery.

I'm in luck I got a quick reading and recognized the N coordinate as Pay It Forward/ Tishman-Lucy92979 and the W coordinate as Pay it Forward/ wkellogg01's and then out it went again. Well I sort of know where I am. I'm not getting out of the forest this way. Huuuum what to do?
I think I see a familiar landmark over that way. I'll give it a try. But I'm going to keep track of the distance and the heading so I will be able to backtrack in case this doesn't work. It's always nice to have a Silva along.

Since I'm an old Scouter I know that my stride is exactly 5' 9" long. I continued using my dead reckoning skills and continued on the same heading and after 97.5 steps I was in the clear, sort of, I think. I've bumped my head so many time on the low branches that I'm not seeing clearly or maybe there was an eclipse, I'm just not sure. I just wasn't seeing very clearly.

But I could hear the sounds of traffic so I knew that I was close to being out. I was so happy that I tossed the contents of my left hand straight up.....but it never came back down. My vision was starting to come back and I wander towards what I thought was my cache mobile. Yep it was the cache mobile and after I cleared my head and thawed my fingers I checked and I had been walking on a heading of 246.1 degrees true.

PLEASE help me find the container I had in my hand."

The original Kellog coordinates are GC182AH N 42° 15.371 W 089° 07.955.

Well now that its April and I've had all sorts of medical things done I seem to be having some hindsight. Back on that day when I threw things up into the air I recall now that there was a VERY strong wind blowing out of the east. I think maybe things came down about 22 feet to the west of where I was standing.
And by the way I ALWAYS carry a paper clip. You never know when you will have to clip some papers!
