Geocache Description:

A matchstick container hidden around the junction of U.S.75 and KS 58.

This is hidden at what local folks call the eight mile corner. It is so called,because it is eight miles from Gridley. This is always the last leg on the long trip from Arkansas back home to Gridley. When I was a kid, the words here's the eight mile corner, were music to my ears. After a long eight hour trip, that last ten minutes seemed like forever, but I knew we were close to grandma and grandpa's house, and that the wait was soon to be over. To this day, I still get a thrill when we get to the eight mile corner.
There is plenty of room to pull completely off the road, near the cache. This should be a true grab and go.
As a side note, the morning I hid this, the temp was one degree below zero, and the wind chill, was off the chart. Ahhh, home sweet home.
