Geocache Description:


Birdguise have long been volunteers in many parks & natural areas. Our caches are located in these types of places so we can introduce geocachers to these natural areas.

This cache is located in Deer Prairie Creek Preserve, a 6400 acre property. Deer Prairie Creek is a tributary of the Myakka River that flows through the property. The preserve has over 60 miles of hiking & equestrian trails.

This cache is hidden near the horse corral, which is located at the North entrance to the preserve off Forbes Trail. Plenty of parking is available.
The cache is a Tupperware Lock & Lock container which initially holds a commerative coin for FTF, a travel bug and various bird-related items.
