Geocache Description:

Welcome to Bond Lake Park in lovely Niagara County, USA.

With the number of caches popping up in the park these days, we thought it was time to add a TB/Geocoin cottage to the area.

We always manage to amass a large number of trackables while traveling and caching. It’s a part of the game that we really enjoy. We try and trade fairly all of the time, so we always end up having way too many trackables for our own good.

This is a place for other cachers to come and swap, leave or “discover” bugs and coins. We plan on keeping it stocked with trackables from our journeys as well, so there should always be a steady supply of these things within the cache.

This isn’t a TB “jail”. If you think you can move a bug or coin, just take it, but please don’t wipe out the entire inventory. If you swap, try and swap fairly. If you engage in trackable shenanigans, your username will be posted on the wall of shame! :)

You are searching for a .50 cal ammo box. Park hours are from dawn until dusk. Parking is available in various spots in the park, but all of the lots are not plowed in the winter. We promise that you won’t find any trickery, deceit or crazy hikes on this one. Some of the area will get overgrown in the warmer months and you’ll want to protect from bugs and poison ivy during certain times of the year. Also, there is a FTF prize in the cache, but if you take it, you have to promise to use it in the future. Good luck, happy holidays and happy caching!

**Winter Note** This cache was placed in late December. At the time of it’s placement, there was about a foot of snow on the ground. The cache is hidden in a rocky area. Please watch your step while searching near ground zero. There are a few ankle-sized nooks that could easily get covered with snow and ruin your day if you stepped into them. When the ground isn't covered with snow, the terrain isn't much of a challenge at all. **
