ZÁHRADA LIECIVÝCH
RASTLÍN
Záhrada liecivých rastlín je úcelové pracovisko Farmaceutickej
fakulty Univerzity Komenského, ktorého nápln práce je
„zhromaždovanie, udržiavanie a rozširovanie
liecivých a potenciálne liecivých rastlín.“ Záhrada disponuje
genofondom 850 rastlinných druhov. Dopestované rastliny sa
používajú vo výucbe farmakognózie (vedy o liecivých rastlinách
a ich obsahových látkach) a botaniky na farmaceutickej fakulte, ako
aj pre potreby výskumu, doktorandských a diplomových prác.
Samozrejmostou je spolupráca so zahranicnými vedeckými
záhradami.Nachádza sa na zverejnených súradniciach, ale nie je
verejnosti prístupná.

GARDEN
Medical Plants Garden is a special workstation of Faculty of
Pharmacy of University of Comenius in Bratislava, which aim is
„to colect, maintain ans spread medical or potencially
medical plants.“ The garden disposes of a collection of
approximately 850 plant species. The plants reaped in this garden
are used in botany and pharmacognosy lessons at the Faculty of
Pharmacy, as well as for resesrch, thesis and PhD research
reasons.
Pharmacognosy is a science dealing with drugs of natural origin.
It investigates the sources of natural active ingredeints, that are
nowaday represented by plants mostly. In more details it means
investigating the source plants, their proper horiculture, their
active substances content and the use of this substances. In
addition, the outcome of research in pharmacognosy are also methods
of control of natural drugs and their quality standards, which are
subsequently incorporated into Slovak pharmacopoeia and Slovak
Codex of Pharmacy.
