Geocache Description:


Attempting this cache requires a kayak / canoe.

This cache is located in a scenic paddling area in and around Howard Park and Lake Avoca in northern Pinellas County and is part of the “Howard Park Kayak Series”.

Cache consists of a well camouflaged matchstick container with a log and is wired to a mangrove limb. Be sure to bring your own pen to sign the log.

Be sure to check the tide tables (Anclote Key, southern end) before attempting this series. I would recommend at least 1.75 to 2.0 feet above the “Zero” line on an incoming tide. You should be able to reach the caches without leaving your vessel.
