Echo Canyon. Located on the Stella Conservation trail, with a great view of Stump Pond, or better known as the Coventry Reservoir.
Hike in is a straight shot from parking. Nice level, no problems right?.. Well the terrain lvel is a 4*, off to your left will be the beginning of your trek to GZ. Yes. This cache will require a bushwhack, of about 400-500 feet. There is a steep hill one will need to go down, and back up again. This may be an easy one for some, and not for others.
Just so you have been warned. OK. now with out all the foliage gone, this was a relatively easy B-whack. Fall, Winter, and hopefully Spring, will be a great time to grab this cache. I am sure that by summer this GZ will be night-marish.
However for the seasons that Mother Nature really puts on a show, or a great Sunset, this will do just fine.
Once at GZ, cache is in plain sight, and while there, be sure to relax on the rock mother nature has provided, give a hoot, and you will soon understand the title to this listing.
Come fall next year, I expect this will be a great seat for the grand show to come. So enjoy, and feel free to take a few pics, and revisit as the need arises!
