Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the bald area of Whitetop Mountain

At an elevation of 5520 ft, Whitetop Mountain is the second highest mountain in the state of Virginia,
after nearby Mount Rogers. It is located in Grayson County.

You are looking for a 6X6X3 Lock-N-Lock on Whitetop Mountain, loaded with goodies. Bring the kids along, they'll enjoy the hike.

Park at N36' 38.206, W81' 36.473, and pick up the trail at the phone pole and a large rock.

Follow the trail for .42 miles.

After the cache, you will want to hike on to Buzzard Rock for some
of the most beautiful scenery in Southwest
Virginia, and Konnarock Kid's Earthcache, Buzzard's Rock on Whitetop Mountain.
