A beautiful climb through native bush. Bridges over all the streams. Stellar views from the cache location. About 20 mins past the Waiomu Kauri. Elevation 297 metres above sea level.
Keep going past the Waiomu Kauri for AWESOME views down the valley to the coast.
We positioned the cache behind the viewpoint/clearing - look for the grey stone on the right when you are facing up the towards the ridge and away from the ocean. Depending on the growth, you might have to hunt behind some foliage.
Cache is a black plastic waterproof container.
