Ein alter Orientierungspunkt – un vieux repère – een oude oriëntatiepunt – an old landmark
In früherer Zeit orientierten sich die Fuhrleute auf der Eisenstraße von Schleiden nach Lüttich an besonderen Landmarken, zum Beispiel außergewöhnlichen Bäumen, wie dem Truschbaum bei Elsenborn und dieser "Eiche der Eichen".
Der Cache steckt am Fuße einer Birke.
B/F: Dans un ancien temps cet "chêne de chêne", un arbre exceptionel a servi de repère sur la Voie de Fer de Schleiden à Liège.
Le cache se trouve au pied d'un bouleau.
GB: In former times the wagoners taking the Iron Transport Road from Schleiden to Liège searched for specific landmarks, especially unusual trees, such as the Truschbaum at Elsenborn and this "Oak of Oaks."
The cache is hidden at the foot of a birch.
B/NL: In vroegere tijden zoekden de wagoners op de Ijzenweg van Schleiden naar Luik altijd specifieke oriëntatiepunten, merkwaardige bomen, zoals de Truschbaum bij Elsenborn en deze "Eik der Eiken".
