This cache is for those that want a small taste of Fear Factor… Please bring a flashlight! The coordinate will bring you to the entrance of the bat gave, but you will only find the cache 90m into the cave. If you step up to the challenge you will come face to face with bats (they also hang from the walls, so watch out where you put that hand…), slippery mud (or is it mud?) and the eerie surroundings that you cannot even describe in movies. This is also a ‘bathroom accessories’ themed cache. When you exit the cave you will understand why you will need soap and shampoo. Original contents were: Luxury soap, bath salt, white soap, loofah soap, relaxing/sleep gel, shampoo, foot scrub, palm soap, mirror, shower cap, conditioner, all in a 1.3L lock&lock container. Please take photos after you have retrieved the cache and post with your log! To get to the cave you will need to walk the first 1.5km of the Otter Trail which starts in the Storms River Mouth Restcamp in the Tsitsikamma National Park. The walk to the cave is not a mission and relatively flat. There is occasional boulder hopping but I have seen many older people on this trail.
