Geocache Description:

Easy access from the Brookfield Road

The cache is located in the village of Burnside, Co. Antrim.
The name of this cache is in honour of the local authoress Florence Mary McDowell (1886-1976), Who wrote two books about the area On called Other Days Around Me' and 'Roses and Rainbows' These books tell the story of life in Burnside ,Corrgy and Doagh at the start of the last century The grave of Florence Mary McDowell is in the grave yard beside Kilbride Presbyterian Church and is marked with a white stone near the mausoleum of Stephenson family When visiting the cache beware of mougles (a magnetised nano)
