We wanted to place some caches 'more than half a mile from
the
car' - Following a trip to the USA where we met a Park Ranger
who
told us that visitors to the USAs national parks never went
more
than half a mile from the car, we always try to go a bit
further!
This is a very easy walk - the path is flat and doesnt get
too
muddy. It is of course perfectly suited to caching by bike,
and
also for those on foot and with pushchairs.
When walking along, keep an eye out for Red Kites - there
are
plenty around, along with Buzzard, Ravens and all manner of
smaller
birds. The path runs through some cuttings, so the view is
not
always fantastic, but they have been clearing trees so is
improving.
The container is a largish lock and lock type container,
and
countains a first to find badge for the first cacher to wear
with
pride!!!!
