In 1974 I used to take this old road back up into a wilderness area call Jesus Valley. The road has been closed for many years and luxury ranch homes have replaced the wilderness.
There is parking for one car and you are completely off the road. Getting out of the turnout may be harder than getting in. If you can back into the turnout you will find it safer when you get ready to leave.
