Part two out of four of the Wendel’s series
The Story
1892 financial statements showed a debt of 800,000 SEK. Bruno
Wendel had died years earlier and his son Arthur couldn 't handle
the strained economy much longer. Bruno decided to try to rebuild
textile factory into a carpenter factory. Things began to develop
in the right direction, but in December 13, 1901
Hulebäcksfabriken burned down and five years later the
bankruptcy was a fact. Arthur Wendel Mölnlycke left for good
the following year.
The Cache
From the cache location you will be able (with a little
imagination) to see parts of the society Bruno Wendel created; the
Wendelsberg Villa and the Hulebäck factory.
