From the parking spot, follow the track up the hill. It’s as simple as that, honest. The track is a nice gentle steady climb up to a natural view point, which is where the cache is, just off the track.
If you climb up on the stile on a clear day you’ll get a fantastic view over to the Ochil Hills including the Wallace Monument.
This is a popular hill for muggles, so stealth may be required when finding and replacing the cache. Please take care to replace the cache camouflage, so that others can enjoy it without muggles finding it.
This cache was placed for the Wanna Buy a Box Event on 10th January 2009.
The cache has now moved slightly further up the track and away from the view. The bush it was hidden under has been removed to make way for a drainage ditch. Can only imagine the original cache went with it. It's only a couple of hundred feet more, the path is flat at this bit, so no more climbing
