Migrating Seagulls Winter Home Traditional Cache
Migrating Seagulls Winter Home
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This lake, named Eastland Lake now, has abundant migratory birds that you can enjoy watching. In season plenty of Seagulls, Comorants and Ducks are visible. Occasionally Great White Pelicans are visible. The lake suffers when there is an extended drought. As of August, 2015, it is reasonably full. Fishing is good, and it is open to the public year round. Bring your tackle! Be sure to check out GC1AZDX and GC1B5TP in the area.
Please Bring Your Own Pen. There is a pull-off nearby. Beware of swift traffic on this road. You can always say you're looking for birds or scouting for a place to fish, and they'll probably be distracted and tell you all about it. But do use some stealth in case someone is watching. Please do enter into your log if you should see any birds in this area. Please do replace cache as found.
