Miss Steele: Unfortunately, this cache page has been archived due to the lack of a timely maintanence resolution. If the owner would like to have it reinstated, please contact me through my profile or email address within 10 days, referencing the GC code and name of the cache. Please note that un-archiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and look forward to seeing more of your caches up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

PnG/Cache-n-Dash The cache is easy access, on gentle terrain & wheelchair accessible in spring, summer & fall.

The Greater Grand Forks Greenway* is a local treasure. Twice the size of Central Park in NYC, this post 1997 flood area connects many parks & recreation sites. It runs on either side of the Red River, the south side of the Red Lake River & encompasses Les Grandes Fourches*. There is a new paved Multi-Use Path (MUP) meandering throughout the Greenway. On a nice summer day you will find many folks out enjoying themselves. Even in winter the Greenway is utilized by the hearty souls who occupy our part of the world. The MUP & quite a few of the park roads see active snow removal. (Geocache, Hike, Bike, Trike, Roller blade, Stroll, Nordic Ski, Sled, Skate, Golf, Fish, Camp, Picnic, Dine on the Riverwalk, Exercise Fido/Spot/Rover, Rest, Play Ball, Throw a Frisbee, Fly a Kite, Read History, Boat, Bird Watch, etc.)

There are lots of Geocaches up & down both sides of the Red. Eventually there will probably be a cache nearly every 528’. (Caches may be placed no closer together than 1/10 of a mile, excepting those separated by a river or other major obstacles.) The caches range from PNG micros to full size, Multi-Stage, Mystery/Puzzle & Night Caches. There is something for everyone here on the Greenway!

Bring your own pencil/pen to sign the log.

Update: Congrats to "gnies" on his FTF! He earned a First To Find coin engraved with the cache name & waypoint.

Happy New Year 2009 from The Hipster!
