This park and the trails running up and down the Shoal Creek
greenbelt are widely used for hiking, biking, fossil hunting,
picnicking, napping, playing Frisbee golf, and geocaching, of
course. Pease Park itself is the oldest park in Austin, and
currently has bathrooms, water fountains, picnic tables, a nice
playground, basketball courts, and a big open field.
The unusual "container" has only a small logbook, so bring
your own pen. Also, please make sure that you replace the
container EXACTLY as you found so that it will be as
interesting for other geocachers as it hopefully will be for
you.
The log has disappeared twice now, so please be sure to
replace the log and cache carefully!!!
