Geocache Description:

A cache to take you around St.Day town trail, gathering the clues to get you to the final destination. The final location is NOT in the church grounds.
The trail should take no more than an hour.

St.Day was the mining centre for Cornwall before Redruth took over the roll.
With the growth of the copper mining industry the town boomed in the 1820's-30's with it's shops, merchants and markets that dominated the town serving the surrounding mining industry.
St.Day is therefore a relatively unaltered example of a boom-time market centre for the richest copper mining district in the world.

Tho co-ords are for parking opposite the church.
Cross the road to the church and follow the trail on the board or use this link. (visit link)
