Since we took our geocaching name from the main character of the Jules Verne novel Tour of the World in Eighty Days, more commonly known today as Around the World in Eighty Days, we decided it was time for a series in honor of the book. Hence, the cache series "Around Caroline in Eight Caches" was born. The series will bring you to areas literally around the county. Most of the caches will be located at spots along the county's boundary.
This "Around Caroline" cache is a 35mm film canister located on public property on the border of Caroline and Hanover counties. There is no need to go on private property to locate the cache. Room to park along the side of the road can be found on the Caroline side.
Be careful retrieving the cache and make sure you do not push it in too far. We know the consequences of such an action from personal experience. Please replace it exactly as you found it.
