STORMS A BREWIN' Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bigawop: We were asked to remove the cache as they feared damage from cachers crawling over the landscaping. It has been fun over the years.

STORM’S A BREWIN’

Coffee was first imported to Italy. The vibrant trade between the Italian city of Venice and the Muslims in North Africa, Egypt, and the East brought a large variety of African goods, including coffee, to this leading European port. Venetian merchants decided to introduce coffee to the wealthy in Venice, charging them heavily for the beverage. In this way, coffee was introduced to Europe. Coffee became more widely accepted after it was "baptized" by Pope Clement VIII in 1600 despite appeals to ban the Muslim drink. The first European coffee house (apart from those in the Ottoman Empire, mentioned above) was opened in Italy in 1645.
True to my roots, I start every day with a latte or cappuccino, but the afternoons are for espresso only.

THE BIGAWOP

Parking is not a problem here, there’s plenty of public parking available... An easy park and grab but beware, there are many muggles around both inside and out at this daily cultural gathering place near the busiest intersection in Sequim. It requires a great deal of stealth. Please replace the bison tube just as you found it and handle the cache hiding place gently. The cache is accessible from the sidewalk. You will need to bring your own pen or pencil. I’m sorry there is not FTF prize, just bragging rights. The proprietor of the shop has given permission for the cache.

CONGRATULATIONS to Searchin Scotts for the honorable FTF and their #600 th find at that.
