Geocache Description:

Black Warrior CITO

Photobucket Photobucket

Join us on January 24th at 3 p.m. for an afternoon clean up along the Black Warrior River!  This event will follow two other events in Tuscaloosa on this day.  The first event will be a breakfast event at a local Northport restaurant to kick the day off.  A little later in the day, we will have lunch and celebrate with some of Tuscaloosa's 1K finder's (ChinaTrekker, Turfscape & SWSEC).

Please take the time and join us here and assist in this clean up effort.  This area is highly used for local fishermen and a favorite spot for many to stop and take their lunch break.  This site was chosen primarily for convenience to town in hopes to get many of the out of Towner's a chance to join us in this cleanup effort.

Join us for a quick clean up of the area.  Here you will find plenty of parking, a boat ramp and a great view of the Black Warrior River!  Bring a sack if you like and join us for some fun and clean up.  Bring you favorite caching stories and tall tales and enjoy the afternoon!  Tell us what you did during your day while in Tuscaloosa!  We hope to see you guys here!Photobucket

A CITO event is a Geocaching Event, but CITO itself should be a lifestyle.  This CITO event should not be limited to just one time a year, we should all practice cache in trash out every time we hit the trails.  On January 24th, we have the opportunity to work together as fellow cachers and clean up this boat ramp along the Black Warrior River.  We should make a commitment to clean up our community each and every time we are out on the trails.Photobucket

CITO Event Caches - The idea of Cache In Trash Out (CITO) came about late in the year 2000 as a way for geocachers to contribute to the beautification of our local parks and lands.
