Geocache Description:

1st Cache in Pomeroy

Located in a downtown park in Pomeroy where I grew up. Many changes have taken place since I left years ago but the people are still friendly and will make you feel welcome. While most of the business that I remember as a kid are no longer there, Pomeroy still has alot to offer and it's enjoyable to see the local arts and entertainment that is availible.
The park is located across the street from a college, a factory, and an entertainment district where you will meet the the friendliest hippies just hanging out and enjoying life. And if your lucky, you may even get to see the dancing bears or a blues concert.
