Geocache Description:


As part of the Wood Badge 04-49-08 Course, this series of 12 caches will highlight different Eagle Scout projects in the San Diego Imperial Council (SDIC), Sweetwater District.

This cache is close to the Otay Ranch High School track. An Eagle Scout Candidate from Troop 1194 is planning a shot put throwing pit that the track and field team may use. The pit will be made of decomposed granite and should last for 20 years or more with little to no maintenance. Way to go!
