Glyn's Goldies Rest (Auckland) Traditional Cache

A restful spot in Goldies Bush to rest and recover from a days tramping

This cache was a gift from Glyn, so it seems fitting that we dedicate it to all his great caches around New Zealand. Glyn has a passion for placing caches, his hides are well thought out and employ some great camo. So we can highly recommend you try out a Glyn cache near you. The cache is at a peaceful spot with a handy seat to rest after tackling some of the harder tracks in the area. Be sure to say "Hi" if you spot Glyn resting here.

• Make sure shoes, tyres and equipment are clean of dirt before and after visiting kauri forest
• Clean shoes and any other equipment that comes into contact with soil after every visit, especially if moving between bush areas
• Keep to defined park tracks at all times. Any movement of soil around the roots of a tree has the potential to spread the disease
• Keep your dog on a leash at all times. Dogs can inadvertently spread the disease if they disturb the soil around the trees.
