We are hoping to start a
tradition this year...having at least one event per month for the
entire year. (This will actually be the second one for January but
who is counting) Hopefully others will join in to host an
event from time to time. It does not matter what type of
event or where. We are just hoping to keep cachers interested
throughout the year. We may host some in the surrounding
counties as well to gather some of those folks to our
group.
Come on out and enjoy the
sunset at one of Cape Canaveral's premier city parks...Manatee
Sanctuary Park. This park features over 10 acres of walking
trails, exercise course, huge pavilion, nearly 400 feet of covered
boardwalk right along the river and 4 horseshoe pits. The locals
all know this park for its view of beautiful sunsets and the
river.
We are hoping to have a great
sunset for everyone but you never know what mother nature will have
in store for us. This event will take place starting at 4:00
pm on Sunday January 25th. The event will end once the sun
goes down and they lock the gates to the park. This will be a
casual event for cachers to gather and share TB's and coins as well
as those stories that always seem to show up at events.
If anyone would like to bring
some sweets that would be fine. We are not planning any type
of meal so just something to snack on.
After the event is over we may
gather at Fishlips for dinner if anyone is
interested.
