Central PA MidWinter Blahs Event Cache III Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

nucci6: It has been a month so everyone should have had a chance to log this. It is now time to put this one to bed.

Thanks all for coming! We had a little over 100 cachers show up this year. I believe a good time was had by all. See you next year at MidWinter Blahs IV.

Geocache Description:

If it is mid-winter, it is time for the Third Annual Central PA MidWinter Blahs event cache!

The weather is very much winter and the days are short and spring break and unfrozen caches are a long ways away. This means it is time for our third annual mid-winter event!

I have reserved the back rooms at:
Prospectors Allegheny Rib Company
2080 Cato Ave, State College, PA
814-861-7427

1 PM -- ?? PM Saturday January 24, 2009

Yes, thuis is the *fourth* Saturday, not the third like I was planning, but try as I might I could not get that date successfully reserved!

We'll keep the log book open until 3:30 for those who may arrive late.

Come enjoy a good lunch, good fellowship, and swap tales of the hunt and the cache that got away.

Come one, come all, and bring the family.

Order a fine lunch off the menu and enjoy some good company. Bring TB's to swap and stories to tell.

No need to make any reservations ahead of time but if you plan to attend just drop a note here to let me know how many are coming. This way I can give the restaurant a better idea of a head count before the event.

We had over 120 crazy cachers show up last year and a good time was had by all. Let's top that number this year!

Keep watching here as we post requests for information for the various awards and prizes we plan to offer. A tip 'o the hat to George1 and Moe2 for their help in setting up the awards and prizes.

See you all there!
