Geocache Description:

Poor William Smith, huntsman to the Earl of Yarborough, was thrown from his horse while cheering on his hounds. He landed on his head at this spot in 1845 and succumbed to his injures 5 days later.
This is the first of what I hope will be a short series that will include parts of the Wanderlust Way.

Parking is at a premium in this little village, so please be courteous to the residents and respect all signs.
