Logbook only so bring your own writing utensil. The remains of the Unity School to the North and the broken foundation of Glenrose Community Church used to be central to the rural, Unity Community. The school closed in in 1966 when the school-age population reached an all time low of 4 students in first through 8th grade. The resulting election to determine how to annex to other surrounding school districts resulted in an ugly, bitter fight which ultimately reached the Oklahoma Supreme Court and divided this rural community both physically and emotionally. I was one of the last four students and a third generation resident of what was the "Unity" Community.
